Matsunaga is a 4th degree Kukkiwon certified blackbelt with more than 15 years of experience in Taekwondo as both practitioner and competitor.
She joined Arch Taekwondo in 2011, while pursuing a medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She is recently left St. Louis after completing doctor in residence training at a local hospital and is a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.
