Evans is a 4th Degree Kukkiwon certified black belt and USA Taekwondo-certified Class D referee with several years of Taekwondo experience.
He is a pioneer member of Arch Taekwondo and one of our first competitors in sparring. He also has attended various poomsae and referee seminars and coached and judged at many local tournaments. Evans also studies Hapkido and is seeking black belt qualification in that Korean martial art.
Evans is a security officer at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. He is a native St. Louisian, graduate of Hazelwood High School and lives in the city of St. Louis with his wife LaTonja – who is also an accomplished taekwondoin – and their dogs Khan, Sasha and Silky.
